Think before you speak, its truly not as hard as it seems yet time and time again we see people speaking when the words that come out of their mouth or the words we see typed online through the strokes of their keyboard are utter nonsense. I am actually amazed by some of the people that I run into on a day to day basis. It could be someone arguing in a store, someone online trolling a forum or someone that randomly calls me as a telemarketer who is wasting my time. Some of the things that people think are worth saying, never really are.

Every now and then I will stop posting on social sites and just lurk. I like lurking, didn’t George Carlin say something about watching people years ago? People watching is sometimes fun. I am amazed and sometimes astonished by the things other people will put on the internet thinking that everyone they know, needs to know that exact same information. Its like we have no idea what we are missing and if 75% of our friends on Facebook all say we have to know this extreme news right away, as if one; it even matters and two; that it applies to our every day lives.

Now lets get back to the things that some people say and I will give a random little list to have viewers understand some of the things I see on a daily basis. I will note three just to compare, the first set from those who email an application to be hired at a company I deal with, the latter on random Facebook statuses. Some of course are fun and some are just too good to be true. At the end I will explain this intelligent title and lead into the next chapter of how it came to be.

Three random things from work:

– “i am a mother of three wonderful kids.my kids ages are 15,13, and three months.i love to cook, read,write,and sending time with family and friends.i am a stay at home mom.’

– “myself *********.k born and brought up in India.I’M POST GRADUATE IN eNVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE.nEED TO EARN AT HOME WITHOUT ANY PRIMARY INVESTMENT.”

– “I am an expert content write.i have my own blog www.*******.**.”

Now please keep in mind that the company I am referring to has dominated the content creation industry for the past few years and its came with hard work and dedication. This is my personal blog where I can rant and rave as I see fit, but these people are applying for a position with a company that prides itself on having workers who can follow instructions thoroughly, have proper spelling/grammar/punctuation within the content they create and at least have a full brain. These three above are totally random picked within the last two years. These are emails word for word from the people who are using this as their introduction to a company they want to work for. As in the lovely voice of my sister in law, I would love to just shout out “HELLO PEOPLE” followed quickly by a face palm.

– “Awesome audio on this one” (this post is followed by six other, in a row, showing every damn song the person hears, REALLY?)

– “this will be the wedding of your dreams” (I am already married, but I guess I can do it twice)

– “OMG its 4:20” (wow, speechless)

And now to conclude until the next time my mind sparks and I feel a rant coming along, or a lovely philosophical note. The original title which I take zero credit for was given in an amazing battle of wits (and intelligent) during an online issue which someone felt the need to randomly publicize “hearsay”. We all know what happens with hearsay in court cases, I fully wish the internet Gods and Goddess had that power here in the virtual world. And for now, that is it. Adiós!
