Westboro spreading the hate…its sickening. Westboro seems to be in the news again for us locally and it’s not the first time either. Then again I doubt it will be the last with these crazy fools who somehow think they know everything in the world, what is wrong with it and how to fix it. I really doubt they know their ass from a hole in the ground seeing as they assume that all pagans have random orgies while dealing with funerals. Why is it that some over zealous piece of shit who tends to preach about some imaginary person always goes about it the wrong way? Its like the blessed protesting people for the Occupy Movement 1000 fold; this time they are backed by a church and still spreading hate. Because that is what this world needs; more hate to feed the evil that consumes too many as it is.

Are these the same churches that come out in the news with bad media about “fathers” who are molesting young boys? How about the churches that turn a blind eye and allow a woman who is beaten by her husband to then be excommunicated from said church because she files for divorce? Even better, same church that has no issues taking your weekly tithe but then tells you that since you are then excommunicated you are unable to have your viewing when your dead because you had not frequented the church recently. This is one of the biggest issues I have with any organized religion, more times than not the over organization helps to cover all the evil that it brings and it brings more than most of the non-traditional/non-normal belief structures do.

I grew up in a household with two parents who were split down the middle when it came to religion, one was Catholic and one was Methodist. Imagine that fun during the holidays! I remember visiting other churches too and let me tell you I have been to a Baptist church, a few in my years on this earth and they were some crazy asses. I am not surprised by the least that Westboro hides behind a church name, let alone a Baptist one. For the few good churches out there these idiots bring down the good name, and in my years I have also been to a few good ones. Oddly enough, these good ones would still black sheep me for my beliefs yet the followers over the years I have met never let their beliefs and my own ever change the way they feel about me as a person.

My whole spiel is do no harm, while I do feel a little bad for saying it I am thankful for places like Anonymous when they take down a website that promotes so much hate in the world for people like these. Even saying they are idiots that deserve to be on a boat is bad to say, it would be pure punishment for the normal idiots of the world. They have their own place saved up for when they parish and I doubt its going to be anywhere nice. I am also thankful for people like those behind 93.3 The Planet who helped to gather a large following of the P1’s out there to help keep these fools from the people at the funeral of Pfc. Justin M. Whitmire.

It shames me to even say that these idiots are “human”, no human with a heart would protest such a stupid deal at a funeral. A funeral is hard enough to deal with, let alone having someone backing out to try to disturb the memory of a person. So much hate in the world is horrible, I can understand the need to protest and I am totally for it when the need arises but not like this. It is very disturbing to think these people actually believe they are doing good, it is distasteful to see that people have fallen to this sort of behavior as a result to try to spread their “good word”.

Awesome work P1’s & 93.3!
