I know the first blood pressure was 119/90 but I am not sure what the second number is, I guess they were worried if it was 130/80, hell they would hate to see what is can rise to on the really rough work days. As the paper notes on the 2nd day of the doctor checkup my temperature was fairly normal compared to all others noted, and that was a low-grade fever too.

With the highest still being 103.9 I started to check to see when would be best to call the doctor or the warden so he could shuffle me off to the doctors (which he did end up doing even though I hate relying on medical to heal me). As I am still alive and kicking, comparing the past two weeks of madness is just a juggle to think about.

After all the money that is spent when it comes to prescription medicines I am at least happy they try to cheer you up. Look at those amazing images, I am a geek and I was told to avoid the sun, both real sun light and artificial. I guess they knew first hand of the geekiness I have and decided it would be best for me to hide out in a basement while I rest and get better.

They were right when it came to the dizziness too, even the pill alone was enough to make me feel out of my right head (even with a wrong head in the first place). I had to avoid driving which was a pain we have hassled through this week when it comes to school rides but thanks to great friends we have survived quite well, and with baby nerd having a day off on Super Tuesday that was just pure fun trying to keep up with her.

Frontal and lateral views of the chest are available and demonstrate right middle lobe and right lower lobe infiltrate. There is some loss of the right heart border and the most dense consolidation is seen in the right lower lobe. The left lung field is clear.

I went from over the counter med’s in the snapshot below to a set of prescriptions (a few hundred dollars worth) that I used for officially one day and then was brushed off to the hospital. There I managed to get most of the med’s via I.V. and then was finally discharged with even more prescriptions. At least they were geek friendly and made me sleep, I have needed it.

This week I can not count a single day where I slept any less than 12 total hours which is crazy to think about. At least tonight is my last night on everything expect the inhaler so hopefully tomorrow will be a day that flies by. Over the weekend I plan to relax, as I will be doing for the next three weeks and I might even get some painting done. It has been a rough week trying to regain any set of normalcy but with a great support team backing me it is like there is nothing I can not do.

Now it is close to medicine time (last dose) and time for some Sleepytime Tea. I love this stuff and since I seldom drink coffee (or soda) anymore it might be a good idea to make this a daily thing. Hell for all I know my British side could be emerging, at least I am not turning into a Zombie (again). Oh and for anyone wondering from one of the last entries, “air in the line” just means your I.V. bag is empty, it does not mean the hospital is out to get you and is shoving air bubbles into your veins. It was my first thought when it started to freak out too, until I put that damn machine to rest and turned it off.
