Igniting Soldiers seems about right since yesterday was all about the workout video that I practiced on last week. Having five days under my belt for this one paid off since now it seems like a cakewalk for me. Then again saying it is a cakewalk is stepping a little up on the beans but I did feel like a champ when I completed it. Friday was full on crazy after Thursdays running around in circles between errands, a school event and trying to cram a 8-9 hour work day into much less. I am so thankful to be able to work anywhere as long as I have an internet connection.

Ignition is a good workout that was a smart choice to practice with. The first time around I felt like a fish out of water, my arms were not doing what my mind was telling them to do. Add in limited space for the ways you need to move around (and being tall), well it was a challenge but well worth it in my opinion. You will go through random exercises, this video will go through ways to burn calories quicker in a faster amount of time. With this one you will end up bouncing through eight exercises in the quickest half hour of your life (until the next video of course).

I decided about half way through the week that I had come “this far” so I might as well not wimp out and skip the weekend workout. I mean, they did actually make 6 videos for people to get through the full week with a day of rest. I might as well at least try it out. Last week I hit the Ignition video for five days, did not die and still had enough energy on Saturday to take a 90 minute women’s self-defense class. I think I could handle another six days on, so why not?

After running even more errands today due to a bad computer death (RIP D) & gathering supplies to dump them all over the living room floor & assemble I took a nice cat nap. Then I woke up and decided to check out what today’s video would be, guess what – it is Solider all over again. This one is all about moving and keeping your head high while you power through each new exercise.

I am slowly starting to remember which stance starts which exercise so I am getting a little quicker on my feet. Squats are something I have always done over the years so these I can get through pretty quick too, those ice cream thighs are no more. I am sure if I had to kick something (thinking back to that self-defense class now) I would hate to be on the other end of my leg. The five strikes in this video are pretty nice too, I mean who does not like to throw a nice hook?
