I have been lazy lately and I do apologize for the lack of updates here but once again life takes a turn into the busy lane & that is where I have been suck for the past month or so. We had a good bit of changes in the work area and some come with a little scatter after an unexpected issue cropped up that was for the most part swiftly taken care of. Many new people are coming in and doing what they should so for that, I could not be happier.
On the same note of doing what you should be doing, I still see people bitching & complaining that they “can’t” or “won’t” do what they should (be responsible for their own actions) and it really makes me wonder what the hell this world is coming to. I remember before my mother passed telling me of all the crazy stories from the Depression times that she & my grandparents lived through, oddly she always told me that my kids would never see anything like that but their kids would. Boy was she wrong on that note.
Gas prices are still high, crime is just insane all while we are surrounded by idiots who think that free money is better than getting a job to support themselves & their family. The list could go on forever. I guess I am a mean hardheaded brat who thinks we should just scoop up all the lazy brats, stick them in a boat and push them towards an unclaimed island to let them fend for themselves. Only the strong survive for a reason, maybe we should take head of mother nature trying to tell us something here.
Other than the normal randomness of life the only main change is that we have decided that our child is not going to 4K after all of the hoops to get her registered, screened session and then wait almost 2 months to find out she was assigned to another school. This new school is 4x the driving distance planned, not the school we wanted her to attend (as we picked this location for our home so she could attend a specific school within 5 miles of our place) and would also mean that she would end up separated from her friends. We refuse to do this as we want her to have a steady school life compared to what we have. Are these people idiots?
